Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of services provided by Total Care Adelaide (ABN 68 682 583 928, Lic. PGE 339329). By purchasing a subscription plan or engaging our services, you agree to these terms in full. If you have any questions, contact us at support@totalcareadelaide.com.au or 0417 397 165.

2. Services

Total Care Adelaide provides licensed electrical services to residential and commercial customers across the Adelaide metropolitan area, including:

  • Emergency electrical callouts

  • Electrical safety inspections

  • Smoke detector testing and compliance

  • RCD and safety switch testing

  • Switchboard repairs and upgrades

  • Subscription-based electrical maintenance plans

All work is carried out by a licensed electrical contractor in accordance with Australian standards and South Australian regulations.

 

3. Subscription Plans

Total Care Adelaide offers the following annual subscription plans:

Essential Plan (~$399/yr) Designed for Adelaide homeowners. Includes unlimited emergency callouts, annual safety inspection, smoke detector testing, and RCD testing for a single residential property.

Commercial Plans (pricing on application) Designed for businesses, property managers, and strata managers. Inclusions, pricing, and callout conditions are agreed upon at the time of sign-up and confirmed in writing.

All plans are priced inclusive of GST and billed annually in advance.

 

4. Payment Terms

  • All subscription plans are billed annually upfront at the time of purchase

  • Payment is processed securely via Stripe

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once the plan period has commenced unless otherwise required by Australian Consumer Law

  • Plans renew annually unless cancelled in writing at least 14 days before the renewal date

  • Total Care Adelaide reserves the right to adjust pricing at renewal with a minimum of 30 days written notice

 

5. Unlimited Emergency Callouts — Conditions and Fair Use

The term "unlimited callouts" refers specifically to emergency electrical faults and safety issues only. This does not include general maintenance requests, cosmetic electrical work, new installations, or renovation work.

 

An emergency callout is defined as any of the following:

  • Total or partial loss of power to the property

  • Tripped or faulty safety switches or circuit breakers

  • Sparking, burning smell, or visible electrical hazard

  • Smoke detector fault or failure

  • Any electrical issue presenting an immediate safety risk to occupants

 

The following are not covered under unlimited callouts:

  • Installation of new power points, lighting, or appliances

  • General maintenance or cosmetic upgrades

  • Pre-purchase electrical inspections

  • Work outside the Adelaide metropolitan area

  • Issues caused by third-party interference, renovations, or deliberate misuse

 

Fair Use Policy

Unlimited callouts are subject to fair and reasonable use. Total Care Adelaide reserves the right to review accounts where callout frequency appears excessive or inconsistent with genuine emergency use. In such cases, we will contact the subscriber directly to discuss the situation before taking any further action.

 

6. Geographic Coverage

 

All services are provided within the Adelaide metropolitan area only. Properties located outside this area are not eligible for subscription plans unless specifically agreed in writing at the time of sign-up.

 

7. Scheduled Inspections

Annual safety inspections, smoke detector testing, and RCD testing included in subscription plans require a minimum of 48 hours notice to schedule. Total Care Adelaide will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred appointment time, subject to availability.

 

8. Cancellation Policy

  • Subscriptions may be cancelled in writing at any time by emailing support@totalcareadelaide.com.au

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period

  • No refunds are provided for unused portions of the subscription year unless required by Australian Consumer Law

  • Total Care Adelaide reserves the right to cancel a subscription where a customer is found to be in breach of these terms, including misuse of the unlimited callout entitlement

9. Liability

Total Care Adelaide carries appropriate public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of services provided. We are not liable for any consequential loss, damage, or injury arising from pre-existing electrical faults, third-party interference, or conditions outside our control.

All work is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with work carried out, contact us within 7 days and we will return to rectify the issue at no additional charge.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with

guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that services will be provided with due care and skill.

11. Changes to These Terms

Total Care Adelaide reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available at totalcareadelaide.com.au. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
